FERPA Update: How to Balance Compliance with Parent Relations
What rights can parents claim in institutional processes and how do administrators ensure compliance with FERPA? We'll help you understand and develop a successful parent relations strategy!
The role of parents in higher education has always raised questions and posed client-relations dilemmas for college and university administrators. FERPA explicitly assigns privacy rights to students, but campus administrators realize that parents have a critical and growing role on campus — particularly when things go criminally and psychologically wrong with students.
To eliminate the potential for campus tragedies, it's essential for your administrators and faculty to learn what to do about information sharing and vital disclosures to parents.
Join our FERPA expert, Clifford A. Ramirez, for this important audio learning event where he'll help you develop a clear understanding of students' and parents' rights under FERPA.
